  • Notes
    • Hans was an engineer, mainly working with ship-building. He was also part of the resistance during the war! Appearantly one of his hideouts was in the basement of Erlandsens gate 4 in Tønsberg (Magnhild's House), where the germans occupied 1st floor. The safest place to hide was just under the feet of the germans!
Hans never spoke of his time in the war!

Lived at St.Olavs gt 18 Tønsberg when born.

According to stories in the family, he was involved with illegal newspaper printing during WW2.
He was doing this with his brother, who had an apartment in Møllegatene 12 Tønsberg, where the printing took place.
He was forced to flie to Sweden.
