    • Neste eigarskiftet kom i 1919, da sonen Nils Knutsen kjopte Haugan. Foreldra Knut og Liv sikra seg føderåd gjennom vanleg føderådskontrakt. Kjøpesummen var 12.000 kr. Handelen blei tinglyst 30. august 1921.
      Nils var gartnar og dreiv i mange år gartneri i Østre Aker. Eigedomen hans heitte Lærdal.Han dreiv samstundes som anleggsgartnar i Oslo, Dreiv Gartnerverksemd nær Grorud.. Etter kjopet av Haugan flutte Hilde Marie med sonen Leif dit. Nils heldt lenge på med verksemda si nær Oslo. Han doydde på Flesbergheimen i 1950-åra.
