Georg Henry had a sister, Johanne Marie (1897). They lived in Festningsgata 15, Kristiansand, until Georg was 7 years old. Both their parents died. The father died between 1902 and 1905 (not confirmed), and the mother n June 1905.
April 2013: New Info: Another brother, Otto William, was born in Aug 1902.
The children was taken in care at 'Weisenhaus' home for orphans, Brønnstykket 5, Kristiansand. The home had a reputation for being horrible, and the kids had a terrible time while living there. Geord lived there until he was confirmed in 1910. 15 years old he escaped to sea, and never returned to Kristiansand. His sister Marie was merried to 'Josef Tommi Lie' from Flekkefjord, in 1919 they had a son, John. In 1923 they migrated t USA , and settled down in Brooklyn New York, USA.
Georg was a sailor, and visited his sister in NY many times.
Marie's son 'John' joined the army and was Killed in Action in 1943, buried in Tunisia.
Marie died in Arizona in 1948, and her husband died in Los Angeles California in 1964.
Georg Henry came to Tønsberg, for the first time, together with one of Magnhilds brothers which he sailed with. This is how he met Magnhild, which he merried in 1926. His last trip was onboard D/S Fagerheim which was sunk by a torpedo or mine 14 January 1944. He was a 'Donkeyman', but was promoted to 2nd Engineer on his last voyage that ended in the ' Bay of Biscaya'. The ship was on her voyage from 'Dje Gelli',Algerie to Middlesborogh, Great Britain. At the time of the accident Magnhild with her two daughters, Liv and Gjerd, lived in 'Håkon Gamlesgate 7' in Tønsberg. Magnhild since then bought a house in 'Erlandsensgate 4', Tønsberg ( of the sum 25.000,- NOK).

"Grandpa Short" LuVern B. Sundheim of Marysville, Washington died November 24, 2013 in Bethany at Silver Lake Nursing Home in Everett. LuVern B. Sundheim was born in Peever, South Dakota on May 19, 1924 to Edwin and Inga (Grinde) Sundheim. LuVern entered the U.S. Army on November 1, 1944 serving with the 84th Field Artillery in the European Theater in World War II until his honorable discharge on August 10, 1946. On May 10, 1952 he married the love of his life, Irene (Larson) Sundheim. In the first years of their marriage they made their home in Froid and Fairview, Montana. LuVern worked in construction for many years, including having worked on the Space Needle and several buildings for the World's Fair which was held in Seattle in 1962. He was proud to have worked on the Boeing air field runways, Pike Place Market and several hospitals in Seattle. After his retirement he worked with his son-in-law, Jim Short, building houses for several years. During LuVern and Irene's retirement, they enjoyed watching their grandchildren's sporting events in Washington and North Dakota. LuVern will always be remembered for his hard-working manner and his sense of humor. Irene passed away on November 11, 2008. LuVern is survived by his son, Jaycin (Mitzi) of Minot, ND and their children, Dr. Jayme (Blair) Mace, Zachary (Jill) Sundheim, Whitney Sundheim and Ethan Sundheim; his daughter, Jeri (Jim) Short of Marysville and their children, Jaime (Aaron) Tanner, Jeremy (Bethany) Short; Jacie (Nathanael) Radmacher and Joshua Short; as well as eight great grandchildren, Ayla, Bryson and Eli Short, Braeden and Kaleb Radmacher, Logan Mace and Cash and Brewer Sundheim. LuVern is also survived by his sister, Helen Martin; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 1:00 p.m., Faith Fellowship Church, 14616 35th Ave SE, Mill Creek, Washington. A memorial service will also be held on Saturday, December 28 at 11:00 a.m., Zion Lutheran Church in Fairview, Montana.
